Partial submissions & save-and-resume

Long forms don't have to be all-or-nothing. Dialed Forms quietly saves a respondent's answers as they go, so a partially completed form isn't lost, and you can pick those partials up on either side.

Available on all plans.

For respondents

• As someone fills out a form, their answers are auto-saved in the background every few seconds.
• If they return to the form with a resume link (a URL containing a ?resume= token), their saved answers are restored and they continue where they left off.

From the dashboard

In the Submissions table, in-progress entries show a PARTIAL badge and two actions:

• Push to Attio: promote a partial submission into a real Attio record without waiting for the respondent to finish.
• Copy link: generate a resume URL to send back to the respondent so they can complete the form.

Resume link expiry

Resume links expire after a configurable number of days. Set this in Settings → Workspace → Partial submission resume links (1–365 days), see Workspace preferences. The setting controls "how long a copied 'resume where you left off' link stays valid before it expires."

Notes

• Partial submissions are especially useful alongside multi-page forms, where respondents may complete the form across more than one sitting.
