Form Builder

Multi-page forms

Break a long form into a sequence of shorter steps by inserting page breaks. Respondents move through the form with Back and Next buttons and see how far along they are, which improves completion rates on longer forms.

Multi-page forms are available on Starter and above.

Adding a page break

  1. Open a form in the Build tab.
  2. Click Add page break in the field toolbar.
  3. A dashed divider appears in the builder. Every field after it becomes part of the next page.

Add as many page breaks as you need; each one starts a new step. Dividers label themselves "Page 2", "Page 3", and so on. Drag fields above or below a break to move them between pages.

Progress bar

Whenever a form has at least one page break, a progress indicator appears automatically at the top of each page: a "Step X of Y" label with a fill bar showing percent complete. There is no toggle; it's shown on every multi-page form.

  • Next advances to the following page. Required fields on the current page must be filled before moving on.
  • Back returns to the previous page with answers preserved.
  • The submit button (and CAPTCHA, if enabled) appear only on the final page.

Plan gating

Multi-page forms require a paid plan (Starter, Pro, or Business). On the Free plan the page-break control is locked with an upgrade prompt.
