Gallery display mode
Gallery mode turns a select or multi-select field into a grid of clickable tiles, so respondents see every choice at once instead of opening a dropdown. It works well when there are only a handful of options, or when the choices are important enough to keep in view.
Switching to gallery mode
- Open a select or multi-select field in the field editor.
- Find the Display Mode setting.
- Choose Gallery (grid of tiles) instead of Dropdown.
The helper text notes: "Gallery shows options as a grid of clickable tiles instead of a dropdown."
Behavior notes
- On a single-select field, tapping a tile selects it (and deselects any other).
- On a multi-select field, respondents can tap several tiles to select multiple options.
- Gallery mode pairs well with option filtering and option ordering to control exactly which tiles show and in what order.
- Available on all plans.
